Desire to vomit is called nausea. It is generally followed by vomiting.
Causes: 1) gastric disturbances.
• Indigestion
• Smell of a particular substance causes nausea in some patients.
• Pregnancy
• Headache
• Psychological disturbances
• Anorexia (loss of appetite due to nervous cause).
• Aversion to certain smell or sight.
